Wording Wedding Vow Renewal Invitations

Since vow renewal ceremonies and the parties that follow are typically less formal than weddings, informal wording is used. Note the more formal wording for renewals in church or places of worship.

Dear Bob and Jenny,

We're renewing our wedding vows at The Lighthouse on Saturday, July 17th at 1 p.m. We hope you'll be able to join us for the ceremony followed by a barbeque dinner.

Call us to R.S.V.P and we'll give you the address and details.

With love from,

Don and Sue
