who performs service for vow renewal
I am surprising my husband at my 40th Birthday Party by renewing our wedding vows. Can you tell me if in Australia, you need to have a marriage celebrant or any other qualified person to do the service? I have heard that because it is not legal, you can have a close friend or member of the family do the service.

I would assume that the answer woukd be the same for you in Australia as it is for us here in the US; since you are legally married already there is no need to have any paperwork or anyone certified to perform the service.
