vow renewal so soon???
My husband and I have only been married for a year and a half. We got married in a civil service that no one knew about. He is leaving for Iraq at the end of the year and we would like to renew our vows...is it too soon? How do I word the invitations?

Years ago, a couple would typically wait until a significant anniversary to renew their wedding vows. These days couples are choosing all sorts of special times to renew their vows and many don't wait 10, 20 or even 25 years. This is an especially significant time for the two of you, with your husband going off to war, to reaffirm your comitment to one another. So, no, it is not too soon to have a wedding vow renewal.
