still married, having 2nd wedding

My husband and I were married in 2003 and his parents planned the wedding, I had no say in it. He has agreed to go through it again so that I may have the wedding that I wanted. Would this be considered a vow renewal or a 2nd wedding? Any help welcomed, Thank You.

A wedding is a ceremony to marry two people. Since you are already married this would be a vow renewal.
