Wanna wear a gown for a vow renewal ceremony.

Help! My husband and I are having a vow renewal ceremony for our 19th anniversary. We are having a big party following the ceremony and he wants me to dress as a princess again so I have been looking at wedding gowns No train No veil but white ball gown types. Is it or is it not bad to wear this??
