Should you renew vows on original wedding date

Should you renew your vows on the same date that you were married? What is the etiquette on this one? Can you choose to renew your vows on any date of your choice or should it be the done on the original day you were married? Please help!

Dear Staceybleu- Some couples choose to renew their marriage vows on the same date they were married, on the anniversary of their first date or other such memorial occasions but there is no etiquette rule. Schedule the date when it's best for you or the date that has the most meaning. If that happens to be the same date - great! It definitely does not have to be on your original wedding date.
