Places to host a wedding vow renewal ceremony in New York City

HI, MY NAME IS MICK AND I AM FROM GREAT BRITAIN. ON SEPTEMBER 24TH IT IS MY 10TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY AND I AM TAKING MY WIFE ON A SURPRISE TRIP TO NEW YORK FOR ABOUT FOUR DAYS. I WOULD LIKE TO RENEW OUR WEDDING VOWS AS SHE HAS BEEN A FANTASTIC WIFE TO ME ,ESPECIALLY AFTER THE GULF WAR.
PLEASE COULD SOMEONE ADVISE ME ON HOW TO DO THIS, A SIMPLE BLESSING IS ALL I AM AFTER BUT IT WOULD BE VERY NICE TO DO IT IN A FAMOUS LOCATION.

What are the dates that you will be in NYC? I assume you'll want to have the renewal in the city, correct?
Are you looking for an officiant to perform the ceremony?

Mick, there are a number of resources at http://ny.topweddingsites.com and most will communicate with you via email in you planning process. It sounds like your request should be pretty easy to accommodate.

I HOPE TO BE IN NYC BETWEEN THE 20th & 25th OF SEPTEMBER THIS YEAR & WOULD LIKE THE BLESSING TO TAKE PLACE SOMEWHERE FAMOUS OR SPECIAL. CAN YOU RECOMMEND ANY LOCATIONS FOR THIS? I WOULD LIKE AN OFFICIANT OF SOME KIND AND HAVE EMAILED A MINISTER CALLED SUSANNA MACOMB TO FIND OUT MORE INFORMATION ,BUT I WOULD APPRECIATE ANY POSSIBLE RECOMMENDATIONS.

Suggestions for places to hold your vow renewal ceremony in New York City, New York:
1) On the observation deck of the Empire State Building at sunset (very romantic and cool).
2) Tavern on the Green in Cenral Park, overlooking the lake.
3) Staten Isalnd Ferry or the Circle Line.
4) For a really fancy, upscale, but pricey event, I recommend The Waldorf Asotoria.
5) The Rainbow Room
6) South Street Seaport
