Listing no gifts on vow renewal invitations
My Husband and I are hosting an informal vow renewal on our 10 year anniversary. There will only be a few of our family members and friends attending. I know that gifts are not customary and I don't want any, but the people we are inviting are always gift happy. Is there a way for me to politely ask for no gifts on the invitation or should I tell them when they rsvp?

Dear Respectful Host,
Either way would be fine. It is now considered appropriate to write "no gifts" on vow renewal invitations.
Congratulations!
