Legal requirements for renewing wedding vows abroad.

We are traveling to St. Lucia for our 5 year anniversary 2nd honeymoon and want to do a very informal renewal of vows.

Are there laws about this or who can read a renewal passage? We are not looking for a license etc just want a short 15 minute ceremony and the hotel we are staying at is giving us a hard time.

If you could comment on the laws etc that would be helpful. They are telling us that we have to be residents of the island 48-72 hours Before the renewal - which we cannot understand since we are not pursing a license.

Help! We are flying in on our wedding anniversary and want to do it that night at sunset along with another couple that is traveling with us that also wants to do this.

Thanks

Since you are already legally married no further legal action needs to be taken. You already have a marriage license.
