thank you for sharing so much of your past together with us. You have certainly been through some hard times together. It is perfectly okay to plan to renew wedding vows when ever a couple feel the time is right. There are no hard and fast rules. By all means include your children - there are many different 'jobs' for them to make them feel part of the day. It will truly be a family wedding. The children will enjoy planning the day with you. Maybe as bridesmaids? If you dont want gifts - let the grapevine spread this around. Make it your day - a special one in every sense.
