shower for second wedding

I have been invited to a 2nd wedding for my cousin. She is remarrying the same man- father of their 2 children. They were only divorced for a short time before getting back together. We have a bridal shower/ bachlorette party this weekend. What type of gift do I purchase? Do I buy a gift for the bridal shower & wedding? Please help. Our family has no idea what to do as far as gifts for the shower.

If you are close enough with your cousin maybe you could ask her to register for gifts. A terrific gift registry is the Honeymoon Gift Registry whereby the couple selects their honeymoon arrangements and their guests can help the couple purchase their honeymoon package. It's a gift that they will not want to return! Keepsakes such as a frame for their wedding photo or certificate, scrap book, and more suggested wedding gifts can be found here: http://gettingremarried.com/second_wedding_gifts.html Gift certificates for a "couples day of pampering" at a local spa is nice or maybe a gift basket including some champagne, two toasting glasses and some delicacies for the couple to enjoy on their wedding night or to save for an "alone time" in the future. His and hers "lingerie, if you know them well enough, can be a fun bridal shower gift too! Be creative and simply imagine what you might like to have as a gift and let that be your guide. Remember...the gift is not quite as important as letting the recipient of the gift know that you took some time to think of her! Good Luck!
