     renewal bridal registery

My husband and I are celebrating our 10th anniversary, and when we got married 10 years ago, we did it at the courthouse with very simple vows and nothing else. I have always wanted a real wedding with family and friends, the cake, the dress, everything. Is it wrong of me to do a bridal registry to make it easier for those who wish to give gifts?

You should know that a vow renewal is not considered a gift giving event however there may be some guests who want to give a gift so it is fine to set up a registry for a vow renewal. Just be sure that you do not include the gift registry information iside of your invitation. Tell anyone who asks that you have a registry or set up a personal wedding website and list your registry information there.
