     non traditional attendants

My fiance and I were tossing around some ideas for who we might have as attendants at our very small wedding. Would it be too bizarre for me to have his sister and for him to have my 14 year old son? I know this is kind of "crossing party lines" or something...but the way we figured it...if we were not having a wedding and only had 2 people witness our union...these are the 2 we would have. Looking forward to hearing what anyone thinks about this one.

How wonderful that each of you wants to choose a member of your soon-to-be spouse's family. That's a perfect way to begin blending the families and to show unity! However, if you are expecting your son to act as a witness please check with the officiant to see if there is an age rewuirement in your area.

BRAVO!
