bridal dance at second weddings

Since this is the second wedding for both of us, is it appropriate to have the bridal dance since we have decided not to do the bouquet/garter toss?

Dear Bakervit, All of these elements are optional. The first dance isn't tied to the garter toss, which, by the way, I'm glad you are omitting. It's time has come and gone. The bridal dance is just a symbol of your first dance as husband and wife. Best wishes, Rebecca Black, Etiquette Consultant Etiquette Now http://www.etiquettenow.com
