Father Daughter Dance

Is it appropriate to have a father daughter dance? What about using the same song as my first wedding? I am asking the sceond question because the song has a line in it stating "My daughter is a bride". My father picked it for my first wedding and it has a lot of memories with it, like practicing our dancing together and i still tear up. I know there are other songs but I still like this one. Thank You Nikki

Dear Nikki, There really is nothing wrong with this. The dance doesn't have the same connotation as for your first wedding. But, it suggests that your father is happy for you and supports you in your new beginning. The song is fine. We are all brides even if this is our fifth marriage.
