3rd marriage questions

My son is getting married for the 3rd time to a lady who has never been married. She wants a full big wedding which I understand. How can you invite family for a 3rd time and expect gifts for a third time? Who exctly is it appropriate to invite?

Dear Mom,

The couple can invite anyone they wish to invite. His guests are not obligated to give gifts, not that I think anyone is. But, typically if this isn't the first wedding for one of them, the guests of that person may or may not give. It is expected.
