what to wear when renewing vows
Can I wear a formal dress for renewing my vows? We were married by a justice of the peace, and now I want formal ceremony

Absolutely! I have performed services for couples who had
originally had hurried Justice of the Peace weddings and wanted a
more formal, meaningful renewal of vows ceremony. And yes, they wore formal
dress and two wore white bridal dresses.

Dear Kat510,
If you choose not to follow strict wedding etiquette guidelines, then you can do anything you wish. Etiquette is simply a set of rules that we follow for a certain situation. These rules change as we do. Some rules we bend as we wish. Everyone has to do what is best for herself. It is just nice to know what the 'rules' say. And, it seems that for the most part, you may be within the 'rules'.
