wedding dress/my 2nd wedding
This will be my 2nd wedding. I don't want to wear a formal wedding dress. I have decided on an floor-length evening dress or semi-length(angle length) dress. Where should I begin to look? I don't want to spend a fortune for the dress, but would like it to be nice. All your responses, so far, have been a big help. I hope that others feel the same way that I do. God Bless you. sincerely, secondbride2004

Check out our page on Wedding Dresses. There are links to places online where you can buy formal and informal wedding dresses (and some nontraditional type dresses). I Do - Take Two Site Administrator

Hi....I'm looking for the same type of dress. Informal, preferably not floor length either. Every online site is just too formal. My wedding is outdoors & is semi-casual, this June. I'm waiting for the dept stores to display their spring/summer line (hopefully by February) and will be looking in local consignment shops. If you did find a dress online, would you please share their website with me? Thanks & good luck!

I am almost embarrased to say how much I paid for my wedding dress at a local Cato's clothing store... ($9.99 ). It was a $68.00 dress that they had just marked down to clearance. It's a sheer ivory dress with beautiful beading but not so "WEDDING" dressish. I love it. This is the perfect time of year to shop the department stores clearance racks to find a perfect dress. I paid four times more for my shoes at Dillard's!

How about posting a picture of your dress? I know I'd like to see your bargain...anyone else? Did it take you long to find this dress? I Do - Take Two Site Administrator
