Wearing same wedding dress twice

Is it bad etiquette to wear the same wedding dress twice? I loved my wedding dress. It cost my step dad a lot of money and they had to have it altered. I asked my fiance if it would offend him if I wore it again and he said no.

If the dress don't conjure up images or memories of your first husband, and both you and your groom agree it doesn't bother you, then go ahead and wear it.

I'd suggest taking it to a seamstress and maybe having her add or remove some details to make it a little different.
