Surprise Vow Renewal
My husband and I will leaving in a few days for the Grand Cayman Islands. I have planned a surprise vow renewal cermony on the beach for him on the day of our anniversary. Any thoughts on how and when to tell him?
Many Thanks,
Krisitne

Surprises can often be good, but sometimes they can be bad and not well received. Unless you're 100% sure your husband would be on board or wouldn't be hurt not to have been included in the writing of the vows or any part of the ceremony you should be fine. How about writing a beautiful card to give him over a nice dinner and glass of wine?

I couldn't agree more. This probably is not something to surprise him with if you weren't absolutely sure he would be excited about it. Some people do not appreciate surprises, especially when it could put him or her in the "lime light". Be very careful.
Full disclosure over dinner and wine sounds like a great idea.
