Omit Gifts on Invitations
I am getting married in July. Since this is our second marriage I am wondering about how we let people know that gifts are not necessary. I have looked on websites on how to write our own invitations but cannot find anything that says omit gifts. We also want this to be a casual affair with just an open house for two hours after the ceremony. This will include some friends and just immediate family (less than 90 people). Any suggestions? I have the invitations and the reply cards, but not sure where to put omit gifts and casual dress.

Ah, we've answered this question in many past posts. Please remember to search the forum and the pages of the site before posting new question. But, to reiterate, gifts are never mentioned (that you want them or not) in a wedding invitation. Just tell people if they ask.
