Newspaper Announcement for Second Marriage
We are getting married with our children (2-11 year old girls one his one mine). We have decided to let the girls help with most of the planning of our wedding. Gatlinburg Tennesse with blue jeans and fall colored sweaters. Our girls do not like to wear dresses.(soocerplayers) Both girls have been very supportive of our engagement and have enjoyed the planning of our wedding get away. Both ex spouses know of the engagement....not sure how to tell them of the wedding date. We have decided along with the girls to go away for a private wedding ceremony, not to the dismay of many family and friends. We want to finalize it with a public newspaper announcement not sure what to write for it.

Dear Announcing, Most newspapers use a form that you must fill out. Typically, you fill in the form and they will print it. Some will print your carefully thought out prose. If this is the case, create a sweet way of saying the who (you two and your children), the what (married), the when, and the where. You could add the 'how' if you want. Check out your local newspaper's lifestyle section for engagement and wedding announcements for the typical style. Then call or look on their web site for more information and to see if they have a form to fill out. If you also send a picture, write your name, phone, and address on it just in case it is separated from your form. Also, send this with a heavy card board backing to prevent damage. You will probably want to choose the style of announcement where the couple announces. You don't need to mention parents.
