First Family wedding

Ok My Husband and I got married in Oct. Due to Family illnesses and all sorts of other things we ended up going through with it just the two of us and our kids. We have planned a pamily ceremony and reception in June. Because no one was there we were going to do the whole thing. Is that weird because we just barely got married? And is it ok to do the dress and pictures (we didn't have our photographer come either so we dont have pictures...very sad) or is that unspoken at a vow renewal?
