remarried in Catholic Church

My husband and I were married in a non-religious ceremony. However, I now wish I had the traditional catholic ceremony. Is this still possible - could we "remarry" and be recognized by the church?
Any help would be much appreciated!

Sorry, I took a little long for this reply. I have had a hectic week  .
I am assuming that you were not married in the Church before your marriage to your current husband. If you were their could be additional issues to resolve before such a ceremony could take place
Assuming this has been a first marriage for both of you. I do not see any impediment to having a traditional Catholic ceremony. In fact, the Church would normally welcome this.
However, I would check with the Catholic Church in which you wish to have the ceremony performed to find out what requirements they have. As they do not recognize civil marriages they could require some counseling prior to the marriage as if it was a "first" marriage. If you do not belong to a parish do not be surprised if the parish requires you to be a member before they will officiate a ceremony.
