Prenup for Massachusetts
I live in Massachusetts. Since the lawyers were outrageously priced to draw up a pre-nup I used a form I found on the internet (combined with 3 forms). I typed it up in a word document and contacted a lawyer. He's going to look at it to make sure I have all the necessary information. We have included Financial and Property statements. My future husband does not want a lawyer to look it over for him (I typed in a clause saying that both parties have had a chance for legal counsel). Would this still hold up in a court of law? The lawyer says it should as long as the clause is included.

Since your future spouse had the opportunity to consult an attorney and chose not to do so, and a clause to that effect has been included in the agreement, I concur with your local attorney.
