     wedding invitations  

hi i have a situation

i was wondering how to word invitations when this is my current situation

i have a recently deceased father

my mother

my stepfather (he's been around about 20 years)

and my mom stated she wanted to add my in laws if possible

Shockedwe have currently been married 5 years and originally had a civil marraige. no one was there and now we are bringing everyone. any suggestions?

Traditionally, invitations are sent from the person(s) hosting (paying) the party. I would think in your case, since you are already married, that the invitation would be sent from the married couple and would not list any parents. You would never list a deceased family member on an invitation. Newspaper announcements can list something like, the daughter of the late Mr. A Brown.
