second wedding invitation wording including children
This is my second marriage and I have a small child that I'm trying to include, my fiance' has never been married and has no children.
Both of our parents are helping us out so I would like the invitation to reflect that. I would also like to have my son's name listed as part of the invite. Any ideas on how to write that so it doesn't sound strange.
Thanks

Dear Thomas,
Children don't invite, as they don't host. So, it shouldn't appear that they are. But, if this is a
very
informal wedding, you may be able to write something like: Along with our parents Jane and John Smith, Alexandria and Samuel Jones and our son Alan James please join us for our wedding... . This doesn't imply that anyone is hosting besides you, but that your family will be with you.
Best wishes,
