remarrying ex
I am remarrying my ex how should the invitation be worded?
We are having a small, none formal wedding in a Christian church.
also would it be acceptable to put
"no gifts please, donations to church welcomed"
Thank You

Dear Melissa:
I find the best wording for any and all invitations to be found in the Crane’s Wedding Blue Book (borrowed from your local library or bought at your local book store). As for gifts, no mention of gifts (either where to buy them or that you would prefer not to receive them) can be made on the wedding invitation. If you have a strong preference, when people ask, you can let them know what your preference is, but not before.
