proper wording for the time of a wedding on invitations

What is the proper wording for the time of a wedding when it's on the half hour? Is it, seven thirty o'clock; seven thirty in the evening, etc. If invitations have already been printed with seven thirty o'clock should they be sent?

Please go to Wedding Invitations: addressing and wording and ask Victoria, the expert from that page.

half past seven in the evening is the popular and traditional way to go, but seven thirty o'clock is proper, if a little stilted and arcane. don't have them reprinted. you're still okay.
