Courthouse ceremony, with small reception a month later
Second marriage for both, and we are planning on getting married at the courthouse, but would like to have a small dinner reception a month later. What type of announcement/invitations are appropriate? Can you offer advice on wording?

Dear Katrinaf,
A regular reception invitation would be fine. You don't have to mention the wedding as your guests will know that you are married by the date of the reception. If it is a small informal affair, you could even hand write letters explaining what you are doing.
Best wishes,
