Older children do not like new husband

I have suh a complex situation here and am looking for advice. I have 4 children 25(daughter - does not live at home) and 3 sons 22,14,&12 who live here. My husband is not the easiest person to get along with. We are currently separated but do love each other and want to be together. My 22 yr old and my husband have by far the most difficulty with each other - they are both stubborn and very hard headed. They just can't seem to get along. My son loves me to death and would do anything for me he is a big help aroung the house but is very immature - will instigate & will wrestle withmy younger ones make stupid noises etc ay 22 knows everything about everything he can really work your nerves also my daughter will outright say she hates my husband and doesn't see why i love him he is from brazil and as you might assume does not speak fluent engish he has his own set of problems as well communication being the biggest anyway how do i go about making everyone including myself happy? I don't want to disregard my childrens feelings or alienate them in any way they are a huge part of my life but my husband and i are miserable without each other also does anyon have any advice in concern to how i can have a life with the one i love and somehow not make my kids miserable the youngre ones are happier without him here too this is sooo sad plase help

I'm sorry, but, your question really has nothing to do with second weddings.

I would suggest seeking counseling for all of you. Good luck.

I'm sorry - I guess that I assumed that you would realize that "new husband" in the subject line would let whoever read this know that this is my second marriage and therefore my husband is a stepfather to my children. I thought that this post concerned blended families. Many of the questions and issues here relate to step children/step parents so I thought someone might have advice other than seek counseling which of course I've thought of myself. Thanks anyway.

Right, you're already married. We offer advice for couples getting married and the problems surrounding the wedding. Pretty snotty reply for someone looking for free advice. Perhaps your attitude is the problem.
