I need some advice and help. I am engaged to a Catholic man who has never been married before. I was married before, for a brief time, and the marriage was in an Anglican Church several years ago. We are both eager to be married in the Catholic Church, but I am concerned. I was baptized, had my first communion, and have been a steady supporter of my parish for the past 3 years. However, I was not confirmed. Will this pose an additional problem? Is there something I should do? I have a meeting with my parish priest, but--to be honest--I am both nervous and worried. We were looking at a spring or summer wedding, but this could set us back a long time...
Please let me know.
Thanks,
slove

It may be. It depends on your Catholic pastor. Some pastors are
stringent. Others are more lenient. The best way is to just face this head on. Speak to your priest. If necessary, try other Catholic parishes.
Take heart. Where there is love, there is always a way.
You will be led in the right direction.
Best of luck...
