I'm helping two friends plan their wedding, second time around for both of them. I printed their invitations for them, and they overestimated how many they would need. Now they would like me to do announcements, which I am glad to do. My question is--Is there an accepted way to use the leftover invitations, such as making an "at home" card or announcement to insert in the invitation instead of the RSVP return card? The original invitations include a very nice photo of the couple, and they both have several family members who live out of state, and have not met the new family member yet. I'm not trying to be cheap, just practical. Thanks.

Dear Invitations and Announcements,
Announcements are mailed out after the wedding, not with the invitations. So, these could be used for the announcements after the wedding. They couldn't be used for the RSVP or 'at home' cards because they are probably too big and look like the invitations. From your description, it seems as if it would look odd.
