Suppose I am getting married abroad, and make a prenup based on the laws of the country I am getting married in. Then I move to US. Is the prenup valid for divorce in US; it seems like laws of the state in which you are getting divorce should be in effect. In other words, does it have to be a US lawyer to make a prenup in this case ?
Please advice.

marriage abroad and prenup

well, not living there for too long, just one month, then back to US.
Is there any difference in terms of location of the marriage procedure and how long do I stay (live) abroad ?
Incidently, where is the best source for prenup forms ?

You should approach an attorney in the US state where you will be living to have a prenup drawn up locally.
If you would like to save some money you can download a do it yourself prenuptial agreement form here. These forms are good in the US only.
I assume you and your fiancee are both US citizens?

my wife to be will not be an american citizen.
when disclosure of assets, does one also need to state the pension plans like 401 and 403, or just regular assets ?
also, does it make any difference if I conduct marriage abroad or in US ?
