I am 57 and the bridegroom to be is 80. Is there anything special we should know or do you have any helpful advice for a wedding? Should age matter?

Dear Age Difference,
No, age shouldn't matter. But, be prepared for some to mention it--a lot. So, the only advice I can give you is to plan your wedding. Don't worry about age, but be prepared for others to. Please don't change anything based on the age issue.
Congratulations on your up-coming wedding.

nothing special to do that I can think of. I am sure your friends and family are pleased you have both found happiness, and I hope you have a wonderful day.
