My sisters are going to be bridesmaids for me at my second wedding, and they want to host a shower. I told them I couldn't have a shower since I had one for my first wedding. What is the correct etiquette on this?

If your sister's are game then go right ahead and let them throw you a shower. The purpose of the shower is typically to help the new bride set up a home but we can assume that you might already have all of that stuff (does a second time bride really NEED another toaster?), so then make the shower a party to simply honor the bride-to-be (which really SHOULD be the most important reason to have a shower, don't you think?) and to let her know that you support her new marriage.
A luncheon without gifts or a fun night on the town are two good suggestions but if your friends and family really want to bring gifts then try a theme bridal shower such as a lingerie party, honeymoon registry (wherby your guests send a monetary gift in to a fund to help pay for your honeymoon trip), collectibiles, etc.

Please check back in and let us know what your sister's do for you and good luck!
