Sin for Catholic to attend second marriage of Catholic who did not get an annulment?
#2
When you attend a wedding, it implies your blessing on the union. A Catholic who marries outside the Church (as this would appear) is committing sin because he or she is not marrying according to canon law and all Catholics are bound to obey their Church's canon law.
So if you attend the wedding, you as a Catholic are in essence condoning the sin of the other Catholic. Please speak with a priest who will be able to explain the consequences to you in more detail.
May God guide you in your decision.
