I was married before and I am methodist. My ex wife is Jewish and we were married by a Rabbi. My fiance is Catholic and we are planning on getting married in a Catholic church in Canada. Do I need to get an annulment?

Do I need an Annulment?

In your unique situation, we suggest you talk with a priest who is skilled in annulments. Whether or not you require an annulment may center around baptism, but since we are not canon lawyers it would be best to seek expert advice.
Before any marriage to a Catholic, the Church also requires some pre-marriage readiness sessions. Please take full advantage of this valuable practice, as you may be carrying around some emotional baggage from your previous marriage. This needs to be addressed so that you don't bring the same problems into your new marriage.
God bless you and guide you.
