Help
This is my first wedding and his second wedding, but I have a daughter and so does he (from his first marriage). Should I proceed as a normal first time bride or follow the second wedding etiquette listed on this site. Obviously I wont be wearing a white gown, but I did want my dad to walk me down the isle. We plan on both children to be involved in the ceremony. We were thinking about a small ceremony but a bigger reception.

Follow your heart and your instincts. Discuss everything with your groom. Decide together what's best. There are very few RULES these days. I would forgo the veil and train but whatever else you like, go for it. It's nice that you found love and are making a new family. Good luck and much happiness.
