I Do! Take Two Forum: parents renewing their vows - I Do! Take Two Forum

my siblings and I are planning a suprise 25 aniversary party for our parents and we want to have them renew their vows. to renew ones vows, do you have to have a minister, and are their any legal issues we have to take care of, or can we just do it informally. we have the rest of the issues worked out, where its going to be held and everything, we just need to know what to do from here. is their paper-work they have to fill out? i just dont know. if someone could answer my question i would greatly appreciate it.

Since your parents have already been legally married and have been married in their church, there are no ministers or legalities required! Just renew and enjoy! Congatulations to them and to you too!
