We are having a small civil ceremony with just close friends and family, my fiance is asking his 21 year old son to be his best man with no other grooms men; I have 3 daughters (17, 20, and 22) and a 4 year old granddaughter. There is no way I can ask only one of my girls to stand up for me, I have thought of asking my mother to avoid problems. I also have no one to "give me away", but cannot think of a way to involve all 3 of my girls... any suggestions?

Have all three of your girls "give you away", or just one of them can give you away and the other two can be attendants. The grandchild can act as the flowergirl...they love that role! Really, there are no hard and fast rules anymore, especially for second weddings. Be creative and try to make as many people happy in the process, especially yourself and future spouse.

Now this is what I call a family wedding! I think it would be a lovely idea to ask your mother, and this would leave your daughters and granddaughter free to chose from the many wonderful parts they could play at your wedding. What a beautiful picture you will all make dressed up for the day.
