What should 53 year old woman wear for second wedding?

I am 53 and will be getting married for the second time this summer. The wedding will be outdoors at a campground. We will exchange vows on a stage which my daughter will decorate very nicely. I'm not quite sure what I should wear at this age. My daughters want to be the "mom" and plan the wedding for me, which is fine with me and important to them. My first wedding was at the ministers home with only parents and some siblings (not the wedding I really wanted) but he insisted on it. On one hand I would love to have the wedding every girl dreams of, but, on the other hand, I'm too old for that now. What should I wear? Also I am slightly disabled so standing for long periods is difficult. Would it be inappropriate for me to have some sort of a stool for support? I just don't want to be in pain exchanging our wedding vows. Thank You!

Dear Mugzvt,

No worries. You can wear anything that you feel looks age appropriate and in the same formality as your wedding. Only the blusher veil is reserved for first time brides these days.

Yes, you may have a stool. If fact, it may be best for both of you to be sitting on stools.

Best wishes,
