I had a civil marriage. My now ex-husband and I also had the marriage blessed in his church, which was episcopalian. I want to get remarried in the Catholic Church but need information on the process I must go through to get a Decree of Nullity. I've heard its a much easier process, Can you review the details?

If this was the first marriage for both of you, then you will need to pick up an application for annulment from a parish near you. Just call the parish. They will direct you. The best is to talk to someone qualified at the parish, either priest, deacon or qualified lay minister because they will first of all make sure that this is a first marriage for both of you - to see which process is the best in your case. And they will want to make sure that your Catholic friend is free to marry in the Catholic Church to help you avoid problems down the road.
