My husband and I will be married 10 years in October and will be renewing our vows. I would like to "recreate" our original wedding and would like to wear the same gown I did 10 years ago. I would also like to have the bridesmaids and groomsmen (only two of each) with the only difference being my husband and I will walk down the isle "together".
What are you opinions on that?

Wedding Gown for Wedding vow Renewal
#2
Dear Renewing,
If you are recreating your wedding, this is fine. But, please do not make it appear as a wedding. I know this will be difficult because you will be in a wedding gown. So, avoid the traditional wedding music and include family and unique elements.
Even though it is fine to use your same attendants in your renewal, it is better if they are just guests. They could stand and wish you well from their seats, join you in lighting a unity candle, or even read a poem. There are so many options since this isn't a wedding. This would be the most proper.
Best wishes,
