My husband and I got married in September 2005 at the courthouse because of insurance purposes. We are having another wedding on the date of our first marriage so that all of our family can be there. we are doing everything... dress, tux... ect.... We have no idea how to word this on wedding invitations. Would it be renewal of vows or should we say the 2nd wedding of: What do we do?

A wedding comes in all shapes, sizes and locations. Whether you were married in a grand cathedral with all family and friends attending or you were married before a justice of the peace with just your witnesses, you're considered married already and this was your wedding.

If you want to have another ceremony then this would be a vow renewal or a blessing of your marriage (if presided over by a member of the clergy). Examples of appropriate wording for these sorts of ceremonies can be found here:

Of course, a wedding reception should be held within one year of the ceremony.

If you are simply having a reception then you can call this your wedding reception (please note that gifts are given for the wedding, not the reception.
