IF we elope is there a way to remarry for the family to see? How would I go about doing that? We want to elope in october and remarry in a few years for family to see. Can we do that?

There is no way to marry twice. You'll have to decide if you want to elope or if you want your family to be there and plan the wedding accordingly.
However, if you were to elope, you could have a vow renewal ceremony in the future.

I agree. A vow renewal would be the only proper ceremony. This must be planned well, or it may appear as if you are trying to create a gift giving event. So, please read about vow renewal etiquette.
