Hello and and congrats to those who have already renewed their wedding vows. Here is my question. I didn't have a wedding the first time. I got married in court. I don't know what it feels like to plan a wedding. Now that my husband and I have been married for 11 years we'd like to plan a wedding. Something special but sweet; a night to remember. I was readying an acticle about getting married the second time and it said the proper etiquette is not to do the whole wedding thing. Does that pertain to me? Looking forward to hearing what you think. Is this every girls dream. I thought it wouldn't be mine but lately it's the only thing I can think about.

Thanks,

Tina[:(]

Tina:

When we use the term second wedding we mean to refer to a marriage between a couple who have been either divorced or widowed and wish to marry for the second time. What you and your husband wil be doing would be a renewal of your vows since you are already married to each other. During your vow renewal ceremony you willl reaffirm the vows you exchanged 11 years ago.

Have a wonderful renewal and congratulations on the success of your marriage!
