scenario- I have a 9 year old from a prior marriage. new man and I have a home together and a new baby on oct '03- we decided to get married New years eve, My daughter was thrilled at the ceremony but it was very small, only a few family members, in our home by a JP. so now what?
do we announce our marrige now and wait until a significant anniversary like 5 years to reaffirm vows w/ the party we wanted to have?
reaffirm our vows and have a recpetion w/ a larger audience on our first anniversary?
announce now and send invites to a reception only within the next few months? or on our anniversary- is 1 year too long to wait for the celebration of the marriage?
Or if we solomnize our vows in a church should it be on our anniversary or will any day be OK?
Any ideas or advice is greatly appreciated.

Any of these are valid options. It's your marriage, remarriage, renewal of vows so you can really do whatever makes you and your new husband happy.
