I am recently divorced, I am not engaged but am pretty serious with someone. He has never been married. I have been curious about wedding etiqutte. I did not have a wedding with my first marriage. We went off alone and married with no family or friends. I would like a somewhat traditional wedding next time. I did not have any showers the first time and had only a small reception with immediate family only. Is it appropriate to wear a white gown, have bridal showers if friends/family want to host them, and do the normal things that are done in planning for a wedding? The only no no that I have seen is no veil. Please advise on the appropriateness of a traditional wedding.
