Okay My husband I got married when I was 9 months preggo with my daughter. We only did the courthouse thing, ate dinner at a nice restraunt and then had a hotel room for the night. My question is..We are going to renew our vows in a year and a half or two years. It will probably be between our 5 and 6 anniversay. Is there anything wrong with that? I wanted to have the vows renewed at the church and then have a reception, but no dinner. Is that ok to do as well. I wanted to buy a wedding dress and have bridemaids etc... I am not really good at these kind of things so I guess what I am trying to ask is where do I start and is it okay to have a mini wedding for renewals?

Dear Vow Renewal,

You can definitely have your vow nenewal. But, there are some etiquette considerations. First, it shouldn't be a mini-wedding, but can have some of the same elements. There is a page devoted to renewal etiquette that could lead you in the right direction. Please visit: http://www.gettingre..._etiquette.html

Best wishes,
